ABOUT THE PROJECT

Starting in 2019, Kunsthal 44Møen and South into North are collaborating on a yearly program of new commissions by newly graduated students from one of the three Danish Art Academies' MFA courses.

Each year an artist is selected from one of the MFA exit shows, and commissioned to produce a site-specific work for the following year. The Project Space is hosted in one of the Kunsthal buildings, an old smith workshop.

The artists are invited to engage with the specific space and the history of the Kunsthal, with its ties to the Fluxus movement, performance and sound.

The project is generously supported by Obelske Familie Fond and is curated by Julia Rodrigues.
