ABOUT THE PROJECT
Bo og dagtilbud Bybjergvej is an institution for people with different kinds of mental and physical disabilities, run by the municipality of Ballerup. It offers accomodation and day-activities for residents and people who live outside the institution.The institution has recently been renovated by architect studio Vandkunsten.
The art committee, advised by with South into North, has commissioned Henrik Plenge Jakobsen to realise an art project for the premises. The artist has made Communitas, a multi-media piece disseminated throughout the building, encompassing painting, sculpture, curtains and lights.
